Configuring SMTP Details

By default, the email configuration for EasyBase is set as ‘no-reply@cartersoftware.com’. Nevertheless, you have the option to customize this configuration to have all emails sent through your own email account. To achieve this, you’ll need to configure the SMTP details in the system settings.

Getting Started

In order to configure your SMTP details, firstly, access the system settings. You can do this by either clicking on the “System Settings” tab on the navigation panel or by clicking the settings icon located in the top right corner of the main window.

Within the system settings window, proceed to the ‘Mail’ tab.

This window will provide you with several textboxes where you can enter the necessary details to setup and configure your email account with the system.

Your ‘username’ may also be referred to as the ‘server name’.

We recommend using the port ‘587’ for your SMTP Protocols. However, this can be changed if needed.
