System Setup

Getting started with EasyBase is straightforward and efficient, ensuring seamless integration into your business operations. The following section will walk you through setting up the system on your Windows machine and creating your free account.

Step 1. Download and Install

You can download the latest copy of EasyBase from our downloads page.

Once downloaded, extract the folder and run the ‘EasyBase – Setup.exe’ file to install the system on your computer.

Should you be prompted with a Windows defender or similar antivirus protection message such as ‘Windows protected your PC’ notification:

  • Close this notification by clicking on the ‘More info’ button and then ‘Run anyway’.

This notification is a precautionary measure to protect your PC from malicious software.

Step 2. Agree to End-User-License-Agreement

To access and utilize any software developed and published by Carter Software Solutions, adherence to the End-User License Agreement (EULA) is mandatory for all users.

The EULA serves as the legal contract between Carter Software Solutions and the end user, outlining the terms and conditions governing the use of the software.

By accepting the EULA, users acknowledge their agreement to abide by the stipulations set forth by Carter Software Solutions, including but not limited to usage restrictions, limitations of liability, and intellectual property rights. This ensures transparency and compliance with legal requirements, safeguarding the interests of both parties involved.

Step 3. Create User Account

To set up your EasyBase free trial, we need to take a few details so we can provide a more unique and personalized experience.

Setting up your account requires that you provide your full name and email address.

Your email address is especially important since this will be used to access and log in to the system so please ensure that you have entered your email address correctly as an activation code will be sent in order to register your device with the system.

Step 4. Create Password

The final step of creating your EasyBase account requires you to setup a system password.

Please try and ensure that your password is secure but also memorable as this will be used in combination with your email address to login and access the EasyBase system.

Step 5. Company Information

Finally, we ask that you provide your company name in order to finish the setup and installation process of the system.

At this stage, you can also add any other relevant company information such as your logo, brand colour, address, and other details. However, these fields are optional and the details can be added or updated at a later date.

Final Step

Once you have completed all the steps of accepting the EULA, creating account, creating password, and adding company information you can now setup your free EasyBase trial.

Before pressing the ‘Start Trial’ button, please ensure that you have entered all the relevant fields correctly and you are happy with the information provided.
